The 'Beta' Version
To find out if people would use the free software we produced an initial version of iMoneyManager that did everything except transfer the data electronically. More than 4000 people downloaded the software and many of them used it successfully to negotiate reduced payment plans with their creditors.
The Survey
We provided tips and guidance via email and in January 2009 sent out a survey asking users to tell us what they thought of the free software. The response and support we got was excellent.
